Can Satan Seduce Souls After Death?

By PocketSketch

"If only people knew the Truth of life after death. AFTER THE SOUL LEAVES THE BODY, WHETHER IT IS IN A STATE OF GRACE or not, SATAN TORMENTS THROUGH THE POWER of SEDUCTION. HE TRIES, EVEN THEN, TO DRAW SOULS TO HIM.” Sept. 26, 2012 (caps added by PocketSketch)

This is a horrible, terrifying and false teaching about life after death. Catholics have always believed that anyone who dies in a state of grace will be safe in the arms of
Jesus, forever. After death, Satan has absolutely no power to tempt, torment, seduce or bait any soul who dies in friendship with the Lord. Maria Divine Mercy spoke correctly when she warned, last year, that her Jesus is “not the Son of Man people expect;” he is “unconventional.” (Sept.18, 2012) This statement illustrates the diametrical opposition of MDM’s teachings with the Deposit of Faith. This faith has been ardently protected by the successors of the apostles and passed down, in its entirety, from generation to generation for 2,000 years.

It is worthwhile to note why the faithfully stubbornly cling to this seer despite everything. Maria Divine Mercy has taught her disciples that “lies will be planted in” their “minds by others who want” them “to abandon” her “mission.” (18-09-12) She has successfully used this clever mind control technique of to prepare readers for "persecution." It is this psychological manipulation which is the hallmark of a cult leader

God, meanwhile, doesn't want anyone to behave like a mindless zombie; He respects human dignity and gifted us with intelligence, reason and freedom. MDM does not.

Under the banner of humility, she forbids all discussion, debate and analysis of her sensational and polemical writings because she doesn't want her authority to be challenged. Nevertheless, she dares to challenge the authority of the Church which Christ, the Redeemer, purchased at the price of His own Blood.

When she declared the successor of Pope Benedict to be the dictator of lies and the false prophet she unmasked her identity. She belongs to the kingdom of darkness and her promise eternal life in a new Paradise on earth is a seductive lie. This is no "beloved chosen soul" of Christ; she is the daughter of the deceiver, the father of all lies. MDM has been planting seeds of doubt and suspicion about the holiness of the Catholic Church in the minds of her disciples for a long time. When she pronounced Benedict would be the last pope, her disciples continued forward unabated.

Only a reckless simpleton would obey, without question, the voice of the spirit who made this invitation:
“Now, come to Me with a trust and abandonment so I can make you Mine.”(18-09-12)
Whereas, a truly wise child of God would heed the warning of St. John:
“Beloved, do not trust every spirit but test the spirits to see whether they belong to God, cause many false prophets have gone into the world.” (1 John 4:1)
A prudent soul would use their right reason to study their Catholic catechism and search for truth, rather than simply take MDM’s word as Gospel truth:
“Death puts an end to human life as the time open to either accepting or rejecting the divine grace manifested in Christ. The New Testament speaks of judgment primarily in its aspect of the final encounter with Christ in his second coming, but also repeatedly affirms that each will be rewarded immediately after death in accordance with his works and faith.” (Catechism 1021)
“Each man receives his eternal retribution in his immortal soul at the very moment of his death, in a particular judgment that refers his life to Christ: either entrance into the blessedness of heaven - through a purification or immediately, or immediate and everlasting damnation.” (Catechism 1022)

As death puts an end to all rejecting of divine grace, one can no longer sin after death. This is definitive Church teaching.

Therefore, it is balderdash to pretend Jesus could teach this new revelation that “after the soul leaves the body . . . in a state of grace . . .Satan torments” them “through the power of seduction” . . . “to draw souls to him.”
